Muslin Blankie & One-of-a-Kind Onesie | Spotlight Saturday

Today’s Spotlight Saturday is actually killing 2 birds with one stone… in that I have two vendors to highlight!

Also– bonus. You get to see snippets of the nursery. I have big plans to do a full nursery tour for a blog post eventually. but am going to wait until closer to September when the baby showers have taken place and all the details are complete.

One snippet that you’ll see in the above picture is the beautiful blue & white dresser / changing table. This is from the talented Natalie with Nadela Market. I plan on doing a Spotlight Saturday on her soon, but didn’t want to breeze through this post without mentioning her since this piece is in the picture!

Onto the two vendors I’m featuring today…

{1} Triple Tiger Muslin Blankie

I found this at Twigs Market in Pekin, IL (a fun Saturday morning out– lots of unique gifts and handmade items inside of a renovated barn, fully equipped with cute little live chicks and goats milling around!) Check them out on Facebook (linked in their name).

It was one of my first purchases for baby boy after I found out his gender. I loved the size of it (tiny!) and the organic Muslin is amazing. The print is so nature-y and I really liked the orange color (which also happens to be one of daddy’s favorite colors). 😉

I’ll undoubtedly share some photos of baby boy snuggling with this blankie (or wrapped in it!) once he’s here, but until then, head over to Triple Tiger on Instagram and give them a follow if you like what you see!

{2} One-of-a-Kind Onesie

Take a wild guess as to who in my life may have made this adorable outfit… I’ll give you a hint. Her name rhymes with “My Shmom.”

She is a very talented seamstress, and is known for her adorable use of hankies in any given sewing project, including this one. She took a white buttoned onesie and sewed on the hankie and button details. I LOVE it and can’t wait to see baby boy in this!

Check out her page on Facebook— she is currently taking limited seamstress projects (including prom dresses, wedding parties, etc.)

I hope you enjoyed the vendors included in today’s post… you may or may not be inundated with “baby stuff” in the coming months, but I’ll also try to feature photography-ish vendors and “mommy-friendly” vendors, as well!
